The muscles of the neck

Muscles of the Neck from Dave Parise CPT FPTA MES on Vimeo.

The neck muscles can contribute to many concerns. The side raise that’s too high, the upright row, too much elevation when performing a horizontal row to name a few. These poorly followed forms (Possibly seen on you-tube, or an uneducated trainer 🙂  lead to muscular imbalances. The muscular imbalances lead to whats called “faulty movement patterns”  The muscles actually take on roles that were not part of there purpose. (Muscles conversions) The tight imbalances muscles migrate to to an efficient position (get it done no matter what) HOWEVER the efficient position is not the optimal path it was designed to do.  Are you with me?

This is the reason for the specific finite obsessive rules I demonstrate in the video lesson plans. Let all the rent-a-buddy trainers do what they feel and looks cool. YOU will be the winner and sustain greater respect, and revenue for the knowledge behind the move.
