Squat? Loaded? Illusion?

By March 6, 2016No Comments

At Fitprospersonaltraining.com we get most content for lesson plans from gym goers that make up movements. The sad part is everyone follows. Think about it as a female you see a woman in her mid 30’s. She looks amazing, well defined, not too muscular, solid body, shapely, great complexion, doing an exercise. The exercise is what you think looks like a glute / butt exercise. She stands near the lower cable, leans way forward with the strap around her ankle. She then throws her leg back until its parallel to the ground. Think! Its totally out of opposition…the load or resistance is loaded through the moment arm/ lever/ leg. HOWEVER she looks great right, it must work. That’s the disconnect and why you keep seeing useless exercises. Everyone will copy her / him based on the desire to accomplish that same look.

Watch this video and see the same crazy opposition disconnect. I show you these moves so you delineate between what real, and whats an illusion.
